Well if your bord maybe you could help me with something totally not realated to SB at all.

I got two linux box's here in my home office.

One is RH 7.3 and the other is a freshly installed RH 9

I have samba running sucessfully with share level access on the 7.3 box yet I cant for the life of me get my windows box to see the shares on the RH9 box even with the smb.conf files on both box's being basicly identicle.

I think it has to do with a master browser issue but dont know what to do about it.

Heh.

Check the DIAGNOSIS.txt that comes with the samba source. There are a bunch of tests you can do to verify connectivity and netbios name resolution.

Well i dot know about you two but I was working earlier tonight for a client moving a site to a different server. So atleast I was earning a little $ on my no life friday night.

Well, since I do all my work from home..I spend my nights online. Hmm, my days too...and my mornings...

Starbucks used to be my 2nd home, going twice, sometimes three times a day. My favorites were triple shot hot mochas and quad venti caramel macchiatos. But they changed espresso machines on me (which made everything taste bitter and/or weak) and I haven't been there since. :mad: Of course, that leaves me an extra $300 - $350 a month I can spend on something else! Like bigger hard drives or any other new hardware that catches my eye, new toys at thinkgeek... :D
