Fire up the MailEnable Console.
Connectors -> SMTP -> Properties -> Relay
1. Check "Allow relay for authenticated users" and select "MailEnable Integrated Authentication" by pressing the "Authentication Method" button.
2. Make sure the only privilege IP you allow is localhost (127.0.0.1).
3. "Allow relay for local senders" should remain unchecked. This is very important because a spammer can simply use *@yourdomain.com and relay his message without an authentication check.
Following these steps will prevent unauthorized relaying of your server!!!!
