Chagning WHM username?

Is it possible to change the default WHM username from root to something else? If so, how do I do this? I already tried creating another user with UID 0, but no luck. Any help is much appreciatied.

You cannot change the default user...and there should only be one UID 0 account.

WHM uses root as the default user so it has permission to modify system configurations in order to add new users and domains. There can be only one root user.
