Is it possible to change the port that MDE is looking to be attached to on my server? I need to access it via em, but cannot get thru because the port is blocked.

MDE is a database format. Are you running it on a SQL setup? If so it wont work because port 1433 is blocked for security reasons at Serverbeach. What is your current setup?
