Just recently I've started getting the following error in my apache error.log file.

child pid 27646 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

The only info I've found points to possible faulty RAM. I've used apache alot and this is the first time I've seen this so if anyone can point me in the right directon I appreciate it.

Standard debian/ apache install with grsecurity patches (not currently running the acls though - don't think its a grsecurity problem).

Thanks

You can submit a ticket and request a memory test. This can also be a result of a buggy cgi/php script.

O.K. good advice about memtest. Server really hasn't been stressed at all til lately.

I am running osCommerce but I don't see a single post on the mailing list about this sort of issue. I have made some pretty heavy modifications to it (My php is pretty good though). Looks like SB is also running a heavily modified osCommerce any similar probs?

Thanks QT for the fast reply.

Hello,

This message will also result from a configuration error, I would check that first.
