Punctuation and complete sentences would make your situation/problem a whole lot easier to understand...and may prompt some helpful responses.

Not necessarily grammar police, but is extremely helpful if people use proper sentence structure, spelling, and punctuation. Remember that not everyone who posts here may be a native speaker of English, and it may be difficult for them to figure out what is trying to be said. Conversely, if you are not a native speaker of English it would be beneficial if you could do your best to use proper English, since a majority of posters here speak English and other non-native speakers tend to learn "proper" English, rather than American slang or l33t speak. Also, technical discussion can be hindered if it is not clear where a question ends and commands or configuration options begin.

Personally, I am both highly technical and well versed in English, but I can honestly say I have no idea what you were asking or what you need.

First off, your subject of "This is what I want"...isn't going to get you far.

Secondly, I merely stated that about your punctuation and complete sentences because it was quite difficult to understand.

When you come to a public forum such as this, you should at least have the common
courtesy and respect of others to submit your posts properly, especially when requesting the help of others.

If you don't have the time to properly state your question, please don't expect others to take the time to try and help.

In defense of jwhysleep, I don't think English is his first language. Right j?

Honestly though, I didn't really understand what you were trying ask either, but I'm going to only make a guess that you were asking what directory the user's root web directories are.

it's whatever is defined in your httpd.conf file. probably under... /etc/httpd/conf directory.

but please do try to use punctuations if possible. remember we're only trying to help you. we (well some of us) don't get paid for this or anything else out of it and spend our time. it just makes it easier for us, that's all. =)

enjoy.

Thank you "charlie" for trying to help this guy with his question. Even though his question wasn't too clear - you at least made an attempt. I'm sure he appreciated that.
