I have a query that is confusing me that some guy asked me the following thing :
Your NS servers must be in DIFFERENT /24 networks.
What does this exactly mean ?
I'm using SB's Nameservers :
ns1.geodns.net
ns2.geodns.net
Are these nameservers according to the above question ?
If someone could help me get out of this then it will be really appreciatable.
I am not sure who told you that, but it is far from accurate. It is ideal to have nameservers on different servers, and even different networks, but it is not required. Also, a single /24 network could span multiple physical networks. However, there may be some registrars with goofy requirements who do not know much about network configuration and may require something like this. You should be fine using ns1.geodns.net and ns2.geodns.net with almost all registrars though :)

indeed. that's a fud (fear, uncertainty, doubt) statement if i ever heard one. that's the thing you say out of ignorance and assumptions. QT's right, just because you're in the same class network doesn't mean that the networks are on the same wire or physicality (hey is that a real word? hehe sounds right)
if you're going to go to that length, you should probably also have another server with a completely different company to have some type of additional redundancy. then you'll definitely have the name servers on different networks and have different servers to boot. just remember there's only one internet, no redundancy for that. =P
