How do you upload stuff to your server? I am using win 2k3 can it be done with remote desktop?
No, it can't be done with remote desktop. The easiest way would be to set up FTP services on your server so you can use a standard FTP client to upload files to your server.

As frightening as it may sound, you can use IE for uploading files to your FTP site- just type in ftp://ftp.yourserver.com... Though other FTP clients have better features, IE is free and probably already installed on your system :)

QT_,
Did you mean to say that it can't be done with W2K servers only? I am using a windows 3K server and I can transfer files just fine using the remote desktop. Here is how...
1... Before hitting the "Connect" button, click the "options" button.
2... Choose the tab "Local Resources".
3... Check the box: "Disk Drives".
After this, you will be able to see your local drives in the tree of your file explorer. You can drag files from your local drive to the server and bingo!
Works well for me!
Dave. :)

Dave,
Do you have to do anything special at the remote computer? I set that as an option, but I don't see my local drive in explorer. (I'm using Win2k, though).

John,
I never did anything special. However, I am using a Win3K server with XP on my side.
