So how did everyones power outage go?
(Please state good and if not, please wait until you find out why and then post the problems, so we can get an idea of what went wrong)
SO NOT SIMPLY COMPLAIN YOUR SERVER IS DOWN!!!
Mine went well for all my servers but one, a rapid reboot got it back up. No idea what caused this.
All of mine came back up without a hitch.
For me it went smooth. I watched as the power down happened and played Tetris for about a half hour and saw services coming back up.
The only thing I came across was that service ports like pop3/smtp/radius were not available until I manually restarted these services. Other than that....SMOOTH :D
It went bad for me! It seems that SB lost my whole server.
I'm still waiting for an answer from SB as to what happend. All I have gotten from SB is a responce that my server is up and accessable and a new admin password. After logging in with the new password I find that my system is new and I have to restore from backup.

No problems here ... powered down a few minutes before the outage (scheduled task) and it was only out for about 30 minutes.
All elastic bands seem to have wound up ok and are powering things ok :D

I shut mine down 15 minutes before, and when I checked it maybe 45 minutes later it was up and running and had been for 10 minutes.
Expecting 6 hours downtime and only getting around 30 minutes was nice. Couldn't check the forums to see if the window was really over, though, since they didn't come up till about an hour after my own server.
Most excellent indeed.

The only server of ours that was affected was a windows server that we use to store backups of our clients websites. We didnt backup the server. I acutally shut the server down around mid afternoon and when I came into work the following morning the server was up and responding.
