I have setup a room for people to voice chat in. I think this will help new people like me. I know everyone help here in the forums but I think when we help each other a one step at a time in real time we can acomplish lots. The voice chat room is available in pal talk. You need to register with them and download the software. After that just click on file display group list. Then go to scroll down to Computers - High Tech, double click on it, then to SB Users. Come on people participate!

And is this just for those who run Windows? :)

this website http://www.winehq.com/ has software available to run windows applications. I am not a linux user but this is a nice program if you need to use at least one or two windows programs. It is a free.. but if you want an alternative to wine there is VMWare which cost a lot. This is the best I can do at this time. I will have to try more better in finding a site where both linux and windows can use.

I think I found another solution. I will let people know what it is soon.

this program called teamspeak from teamspeak.org has nice software for setting up voice chats. Best part is that it has linux version where you can download. After you download the client version and installed it go to your browser and type this teamspeak://66.135.35.24:5050 this will log in to my voice chat room that I set up. Please take everyone I am hoping somebody uses it. I know it will help me alot to sit down and talk to someone as they walk me through something. Hopefully I hope it does the same for you.

IMO, Teamspeak is far superior to all other voice chat applications. VERY clear. We use it for gaming all the time.

yeah I think it is really cool. Best part is that it is not a sell out like roger wilco.
