Is anyone running Fedora Core 2??? Any Problems??? I know the EOL for FC1 is coming soon...and FC3 is already posted as a test core...so..I guess I will need to upgrade to FC2 soon...

When I go to the "select a server" page and get my list of available operating systems under RedHat servers, it just shows "Fedora Core" -- it does not show which version of Fedora they will install.

I am sure it is FC1 still....but the EOL for FC1 is coming up fast..so I am sure they will change that to FC2 soon. Dont let that stop you though FC1 is a solid OS platform I have had NO problems with it at all. As far as remote upgrades I think they are always sketchy at best just because you ARENT there to correct anything if it goes stupid on you...:poke:

Yeah, I have 2 FC1 boxes with SB. I've only had one or two minor issues -- but a far cry from my Windows box. Nearly all my trouble tickets are for it (gosh, I wonder why).

I'm running FC2 at home and wanted to run the same platform server side too -- so I was interested in the time table for SB in getting FC2 going.

I'm not really in a major rush since I have everything configured they way I like it and I know I would just have to redo all that work just to be current. I guess, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yeah..I dont particularly like the fast EOL of each core for Fedora...but it keeps the security up and stuff fixed for the most part...AND its FREEEEEeee...
