My server time is 2 minutes off but when I use the Server Time option in WHM I get the following returned
rdate: [rdate.darkorb.net] Thu Sep 2 07:45:32 2004
which is 2 minutes slow. Any idea what is up? Also, the darkorb reference worries me.
Thanks
John

I finally found this
ntpdate ntp1.cs.wisc.edu
which fixed the problem but I still can't figure out why WHM won't sync the proper time.

I believe darkorb.net is associated with cpanel. Just go to http://www.darkorb.net/ and you end up at the cpanel forums. It looks like their time server's clock is probably two minutes slow. Shame on them. You could run ntpd and sync with someone more reliable.

Actually, the NTP application pings time.serverbeach.com who then must use darkorb.net for their time.
