I saw this question on another post, but it was answered by the poster them self. Thus, how do you install a new IP address?

I know it is in network config, but then I do not know where to add it.

Thanks!

I am not too familiar with Windows, but I believe you can accomplish this by the following:

Open the properties for your network adapater, click on "TCP/IP" then properties. Click on the "Advanced" button at the bottom of the TCP/IP window.

Your right! That was it! I guess the thing I did'nt understand was what was supposed to be in the default subnet mask field. But windows answered that one (the same that is in the other fields).

Thanks!

Yet I have another question...
Now as I am installing this IP for another SSL cert, it seems that they still conflict (the 2 sites with SSL certs). So if anyone know what conflict would cause them to "stop" running. That would be great!

Thanks!

Make sure you have your sites configured for specific IP addresses in IIS. If you leave it set to "automatically assigned" they will probably both end up on the same IP and neither one will work. You may have to reinstall your certificates if you change the IP addresses of your sites in IIS, so make sure you have your keys and certs backed up somewhere.

Altering the identities of sites shouldn't affect the SSL cert. Regardless, it's always a good idea to backup your certs to *.pfx files.
