MSDE and HELM

On my Windows 2003 server I had HELM installed. I see it uses MSDE which I was going to install for my customers anways. I've read all the posts about getting the port changed, and I've had no problems doing that.

My problem is the login and password. I've tried everything.

sa
admin
Administrator

and all the logins that were in my Welcome email.

So what is the login and password?

Or should I just install another instance of MSDE for my customers?

The licensing model of MSDE forbids you to resell MSDE databases. Doing so would be illegal. You'll need to arrange an SLPA agreement with Microsoft.

That is very interesting that you told me that. I was not aware, and would you know SB Sales people actually recommend this.

Hmm what if I gave away the MSDE access for free and only charged for drive space or something :) I'd really not have to purchase a SQL server license.

I'd still like to know what the heck the logins are for the MSDE that was installed anyways.
