I don't mean to spam the forum or anything, but a lot of people PMed me about the FreeFlatScreens link in my signature asking what it was and I explained that it was a sister site run by the same people that created FreeiPods.com.

So, I ended up getting a lot of questions about whether or not it was legit and if I'd received anything yet. Unfortunately, at that point I hadn't, but just the other day FedEx dropped off a small at my door containing, you guessed it, a 20 GB Apple iPod.

Since then, I've purchased a Monster iCarPlay FM transmitter and a car mounting kit. It is absolutely the most wonderful thing in the world. CD changers, MP3 CD players, etc... are absolutely no match for this simple little setup that allows me to play 20 GB of high-quality music through my car's FM stereo.

I'm apologize if this thread seems like spam. I was just so excited and enthralled with this that I had to tell somebody and boast a little. :D

Of course, something like this isn't complete without pictures. So, I threw some in a gallery over at http://gallery.flaretech.net/thumbnails.php?album=61

Now I just need to work towards that TV. Free stuff rocks!

I've been thinking of trying this but I've been wondering, how many friends did you have to refer to get the free iPod?

Hey Kyle,
You're 1 person closer! I thought about doing the free ipod thing a while back but I couldn't find any offers that I was willing to go through with at the time. The Blockbuster offer on the free flat screen site is pretty good. Now, just have to find 8 people to go along w/ this...

You need to refer 5 people to get an iPod.

Lol, I checked back and they have some better offers (in fact the same ones on the free flat screen site) The New York Times offer seems like the easiest to fulfill.

Chud, PM me if you want a link to the iPod site.

I'm w/ Kyle on being excited w/ this type of business model where you can get free stuff out of it w/ minor obligations. I don't want to spam the forums either, but it's just a really cool concept.

Wow, that's great! Thanks Mike. I appreciate it. :)

I did the VideoProfessor offer for FreeiPods and the Infone offer for FreeFlatScreens and all it cost me was some shipping and handling. ;)

Infone even went off and sent me a $10 Amazon gift certificate after I signed up. So, I think I might try their service some time if I ever need directory assistance.

Anyways, I only have 1 person that completed an offer for FFS atm and Mike will make 2. So, now I have to find 6 more. :p It's not as easy the second time around.
