Help!!!!

Hello,
I rebooted my machine WIN2003 and now i can not RDC into the box. i still get a ping. but cannot connect to the box. i did a Rapid Reboot and it still says Reboot in proccess. it has been 20 mins. since i did the reboot..... any ideas?. i also submitted a TT for this matter.... thanks

This is exactly why I always leave a backdoor into the server for myself. If you get your server running again, I reccommend setting up a VPN that you can tunnel into in the event you're unable to connect via RDP.

I have a rather elaborate setup that takes additional steps in making sure I can get into the server. When/If the Terminal Service fails, I have a script I wrote that starts the Telnet server up on a non-standard port and emails me to let me know that the service failed and I need to do something about it.
