Hi,

I´m new to Linux and i need to know how can i add more extensions/modules in PHP. I already know that the .dll files cannot be used...

I think in your other thread you mentioned that you have CPanel. In Web Host Manager you should be able to go to "update Apache" and select the PHP modules you need there. :)

Yep, that would be a cool feature, if it was working :)

Errors, errors errors...

I've just submitted a ticket about this, I think something wasn't set up right.

Mine works just fine. I enabled GD with Update Apache and it worked good.

When running the "update apache" feature in cpanel, it automatically ticks the default options.

I want to install GD, as well as keep the existing installed modules. If I keep the default settings, will it uninstall or disable my existing modules if i don't check the associated boxes?

Ta!

Yes, if you don't check the boxes..they don't get included. :)

thanks for the quick reponse QT.

does anyone know which boxes should be checked. i would be inclined to select all of them, if it wasn't for the rather serious warning about how it can mess up the entire system.
