Hi

I am trying to install DBD Module and get the following error.

Error: No valid respositories:
Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80 (conection: Unknown error) at c:/Program Files/SWsoft/Plesk/Perl/site/lib/PPM/Repository.pm line84

I go to Run – PPM – and type install DBD or DBI and get the above message.

Do you have any idea why?

What version of plesk are you running ??

have you tried to reinstall perl ?

I am new to Windows Server.

I take it I would do the following:

RUN > CMD> PPM > Install Perl

Is that right?

the best way of doing it would be removing it through the plesk installer then readding it.

since there is a bug with the add/remove programs (modify) with plesk 7.
use the installer found here

C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Install\050318.13\plesk_7.5.1_build05 0318.13.msi
(version numbers may be diffrent.)
