I am having a problem. I have never set up a VPN server before so please bear with me. When I enable my remote services for my VPN server I am unable to access the internet on the server. Once I disable the VPN server I am able to access the internet. Any suggestions on why this is happening? I am currently just using one NIC and I have statically assigned the ip address. Also when I am remote in to my pc using VNC and I make a VPN connection to my server it kicks out my VNC connection.
Need Help!

Don't bother with the built-in VPN. Use http://openvpn.net/ instead.
Or, if you want to use the built-in, make sure you have "Use remote gateway" (or similar) turned off.

I was able to get my connection to the internet while connected to the VPN by unchecking use gateway on remote server. I have a user in another area of the country that is set up the same way and she still can not browse the internet when connected to the VPN. She has the same settings as my self. Her local ip address is 192.168.1.x and the ip address of my server is also 192.168.1.x. Could this be the problem? I know that I am on a 192.168.0.x and it works fine. Any thoughts?

Everyone has to be in their own subnet, and the VPN has to be in a different subnet than the local connection.
So if she is 192.168.1.X locally, the VPN should be set to 192.168.2.X or anything higher.
If you are connected to the VPN's 192.168.2.X, then she should be 192.168.3.X or higher.
Every connection should have a unique 192.168.X all to itself, but there's 255 to choose from so that shouldn't be an issue.
(none of this is actually true, but unless you really want to play with bridging and routing just count it as true)
