Secondary nameserver prob

My secondary nameserver doesn't seem to be responding , it's on an second IP address , provided by serverbeach

DNS Report says ERROR: Some of your nameservers listed at the parent nameservers did not respond

Also I can't seem to do a trace route to my secondary nameserver

It ends up at Destination Unreachable

It's probably obvious , but any ideas what I have done wrong?
Or is this normal ?

Win2003 server , running Simple DNS Plus

That IP address doesn't seem to be responding to ping requests at all, and may not even be online.

If this is an additional IP address, then you should make sure that it is configured properly.

I can ping the address from the command line here at my PC , but if I try using an online tool like http://network-tools.com/ it doesn't respond.

Very odd , I'm pretty sure it's set up ok in local area connection properties on the server..

The other additional IP they gave me seems okay 66.139.74.148

doesn't seem like that ip is configured right...

try doing an ipconfig /all and pm me the results. i'll see if i can help you out.

Just heard back from ServerBeach support , apparently there was a routing error in the routing table , which they have fixed
