I got a new server yesterday, with cpanel and whm. When i enter the whm, i am asked to configure:

Resolver primary:
Resolver secondary:
Territorial resolver:

What shall i do? I think that i must put first of all the server ip, then the local host ip, and then just leave it blank. I am ok? Please i need help with this issue.

Tnks

You need to enter ServerBeach's caching nameservers:

Resolver: 66.139.72.6
Resolver secondary: 66.139.72.22
Territorial resolver: leave this blank.

:)

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean here.

Yes, the caching nameservers at ServerBeach.

Let me see if i can explain what i mean.

First of all, i want the server to work properly with every domain i create.

As a reseller, i would like to have configured in the server, and also for ns, my own ip. I would like Sb to be anonimous for my clients.

But, if i put those ip, i need to configure my dns1.mydomain.com and dns2.mydomain.com with those ip?

Tks again

The resolver nameservers and authoritative nameservers are completely different. The resolver nameservers (66.139.72.6 and 66.139.72.22) are caching nameservers and are used to look up domains on the Internet. The authoritative nameservers (66.139.72.14 and 66.139.72.20) are what you use when you register domains with ServerBeach nameservers. If you want to use ServerBeach DNS servers, you must use ns1.geodns.net and ns2.geodns.net after you have added your domains to the DNS Tool. If you want to have your own nameservers (ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com) you must purchase an additional IP address and register these using the IP addresses assigned to your server.

There is no way to make ServerBeach anonymous to your clients. You can call your nameservers whatever you want, but they can always tell who owns the IP addresses by going to www.arin.net and using the WHOIS tool. We chose GeoDNS for our nameservers to make the connection a little more obscure, but there is no way to be completely anonymous. This is a myth propagated by virtualhosting providers who want to gain an edge over their competition when they really have no additional value to add.
