New Problem with Remote Connection

Ever since last week, I have been unable to use remote connection services (mstsc) to connect to the root session (session 0) of our Windows 2003 Server at Serverbeach. I am using the same command:

mstsc /v:64.34.161.XXX:3389 /console

Instead, I now log onto a new session 1 or 2. I've tried using /admin and that also does nothing. What has changed recently that would have changed the behavior, and how do I now get to my root session remotely?

Yes I have come to the same problem on my office machine after updating to SP3 for XP. Apparently the new way that RDC (client)patch works is it ignores /console. I will continue to research the issue and post an update here if I find a way around it.

/admin is the new switch not /console but as to why it's not working for you I do not know it works fine for me.
