Recompiling PHP

I'm on RH 9.0 with cPanel/WHM. What's the simplest method of recompiling PHP with cURL and GD support?

I just went ahead and recompiled PHP from source. But if there's an easier way to do it with WHM or an RPM that i'm not aware of, please let me know.

Just found the 'Update Apache' tool in WHM. Let's you choose what PHP modules you want to install. Very cool.
