I don't see how it is possible for ServerBeach to offer this.

This looks like something that customers will have to purchase on their own and install themselves.

Probably not. They have a good volume licensing deal so it would only be $10 per server. However, not *every* cPanel user is going to want to pay an extra $10 for something they may not use. Also, they have a little blurb on their website (as QT_ pointed out) that pretty much prevents anyone from reselling the Fantastico software en masse. This is something that each user would have to buy on their own, and definitely not something we could include for free (or maybe not at all).

How have many other hosting companies offer Fantastico as a free service to their clients? Seems like they must be working deals with their larger customers...

Am sure our savvy leader could work out a sweet deal with Fantastico and turn a nice $$ or two making it an available option here like some similar server companies are doing right now.

I was preparing a spiele to Peter to convince him to acquire it for our server here, then my alleged mind saw an image of an announcement appearing here at the Beach shortly thereafter offering Fantastico for an additional one time fee of $20.00. :p

As far as I can determine, all those that have offer it as an "option" - some for free upon request, some for a one time charge upon request.

It would be simpler as well as more economical to follow suit, if enough present users of CPanel were interested, if Knightfoo would make it available here as well. It might also be a good advertising tool -- a big "WOOOHOOO!"
