I've setup a number of domains on my new servers with SB. I am using option #5 from knightfoo's post http://serverbeach.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=544.

On most of my domains this works fine. However on the last couple i am noticing that ns1.geodns.net isnt picking up the information even thou ns2.geodns.net does. examples:
host moviequotes.com ns1.geodns.net
Using domain server:
Name: ns1.geodns.net
Address: 66.139.72.14#53
Aliases:

but ns2.geodns.net returns:
host moviequotes.com ns2.geodns.net
Using domain server:
Name: ns2.geodns.net
Address: 66.139.72.20#53
Aliases:

moviequotes.com has address 69.44.58.218

Any ideas why one of them picks it up and the other doesnt? I have both machines listed as NS records in my DNS setup...

Seems to be working now. Sometimes one of the nameservers will grab the update before the other. It's kind of strange and hard to troubleshoot, because it starts working eventually.

I am having the same prob....

NS1.GeoDns.net is slow to pick up the records......its been a full 72 hours since my records were updated and still half the requests for the domain are pointing to the old IP....

Gotta have this looked at..

About half the domains I have setup using ns1.geodns.net and ns2.geodns.net as slaves are now completely unreachable thanks to those two machines losing the records.

These are domains which have been up and running fine with this same setup for nearly two weeks.

why would the geodns.net machines lose records they had been answering fine on previously when I've made absolutely no changes on my side?
