I'm new in this 'area', so.... life is full of questions these days!

My question for now is: How do I setup my DNS stuff in the Plesk control panel? I know you get a default setup for the DNS, but I'm pretty sure it is not set right. I downloaded some info from Plesk, but.. it's not making me happier.

say you have domain.com.
then it would say:

domain.com NS ns.domain.com
ns.domain.com A 1.1.1.1
domain.com A 1.1.1.1

All nice to know of course.. but according to ServerBeach, the DNS's are n1.geodns.net and n2.geodns.net.

What will the result be then...?

domain.com NS ns1.geodns.net
domain.com NS ns2.geodns.net
domain.com A 1.1.1.1
ns1.geodns.net A 66.139.72.14
ns2.geodns.net A 66.139.72.20

or something like that...???? Is this right or am I totally wrong?

Are you going to use the ServerBeach DNS Tool to manage DNS for your domains or are you going to use Plesk to manage DNS?

That is a good question. I used plesk to configure the domain stuff... and then I found the tool at their site. I used the tool to use their dns servers.

.. that is why I asked if I have to put those two dns servernames in the plesk cp.

If you're using the DNS Tool then you don't need to set up anything for DNS in Plesk. :)

Do I have to leave the settings alone in Plesk..? (at default) Or do I have to switch anything on/off?

(thanks for the help so far!!)

If you're going to use the DNS Tool, then there is nothing you need to do in Plesk...so yes, leave the settings alone. :)

So it will look at the DNS configuration at ServerBeach first before it would look at a 'private' config of that stuff? okidoki.. thanks a lot!!:D
