I am having the exact same problem as listed below right now. I am using server beach's name servers and they just set-up my server 4 hours ago. Do i just wait for "Propagation" or do i have to use 1 of my 3 trouble tickets on this problem?
P.S. is there anything i can do on my end?
thanks

Hostname A Entry Missing
When I log into WHM I get a popup with the following: (note my domain is not 'domain', I just put that there as a placeholder. I am not sure if it is a good thing to do to put my actual domain here out in the open)
Hostname A Entry Missing!
The server was unable to lookup an an A entry for its hostname (server1.domain.info). This is generally because the entry was never added. However this could also be the result of your nameserver(s) being down. If you would like to attempt to automaticlly add the entry, .
Which I click and I get:
Adding an A entry for your hostname
Found your hostname to be: server1.domain.info
Found your short hostname to be: server1
Found your domain name to be: domain.info
Found your main ip to be: 66.666.66.66 (not my real IP)
If this looks correct,
Add The Entry (box)
Which I also click on and get:
Adding an A entry for server1.domain.info
Zone domain.info does not exist, a new zone for server1.domain.info will be created.
Sorry, a DNS entry for server1.domain.info already exists, please delete it first.
I am not sure what this is telling me except that I must create an A zone entry. I am not sure if it is safe to do as it says and delete the current dns entry.
I know, I feel real dumb right now.
P.S. is there anything i can do on my end?
thanks
