It seems everytime I come here no matter what time of day or the day it is, you are here. So I figure:

You are working 24 hours a day.
You are logged in and heve left your PC/work station.
You sleep at your PC/workstation.
There are more than one of you.

So which is it?

The workstation actually follows me home, and I do have a bad habit of not clicking "Logout" when I walk away. I normally get paged or notified some other way if something blows up too. I've also mastered the art of multitasking to the point where if I'm not doing at least 3 things at once I get bored. :) I sleep, but only when no one is watching and sometimes I wish there was more than one of me (my wife does too!). People on IRC used to ask me when I sleep too .. hmm.

Actually, it has been reported that Knightfoo, a cyborg, has replaced
the men with the keys.

His primary function is to achieve harmony within the Server Beach
network. The image link is of Knightfoo from the 80's, when he
was just a child.

The gentlemen on the right in the photo was thought to be Knightfoo's
creator...

He spends the majority of his time working both behind the scenes and on here and often says that you guys are a great bunch to chat with. And it is true, he DOES bring his work station home with him. He's also right when he said that I wished there was more than one of him! Someone needs to take out the trash! ;)

"us all" ...including us she-geeks? :(

Now that I think about it...

knightfoo:

How on earth did you find time to actually meet someone, let alone marry someone? C'mon, spill it...

Sometimes you can't find happiness until you stop looking for it. :)

Ya know. the thought of finding a geek-chick was appealing until it was put into the "she-geek" context ... now its just kinda scary ;-)

/me ducks and runs for his life.

Stop?

That implies that someone had time to start in the first place ...

Hahaha, alright..alright..

I originally thought about saying "geek-chick" or "geek-goddess" ;) , but I figured that someone else would come along making some kind of comment about being a "chick" or something (mainly another female), as I've ran into a few who just get down right upset over being referred to as a 'chick'.

But now that you've pointed out that the term "she-geek" may be kind of scary, I'll keep that in mind the next time someone asks me to tell them about myself and I'd rather them just bugger off.

I am geek-chick, hear me roar...

:p

What is this "sleep" you speak of?

My personal definition of sleep: sitting infront of the computer at 2am, bottle of Dew on the desk, eterms on screen one, UT on screen two, evolution and mozilla on screen three. Bouncing back and forth quickly between the three, eyes half open, nodding off a couple of times and ready to go again by 6am. ;)

By the way, nice avatar! :emlaugh:
