QT_ (how fitting), from a womens standpoint, how does your significant
other deal with a geek who spends a great deal of time tapping at
the keys?

I mean no put-down to you, as I am a serious geek myself. I am
just curious, from > 600 posts in 3 months. It took my wife a couple
of years to get used to it. Between programming, games, correspondence
and the other little hobbies we find ourselves filling our time with on
the computer.

I work from home, so the majority of my time...beginning at 6am is sitting infront of a computer. My significant other is a poorgrammer, err programmer and system administrator therefore is also on the computer for the majority of the day/evenings (both at the office and at home).

I've been a forum junkie for several years and have been sitting infront of a computer for many more, so between doing the daily household chores, work, and taking care of our family..what can I say, we've mastered multi-tasking. ;) Don't get me wrong, we don't spend all of our time on the computer (although by my post count it sure seems that way eh? :)) .. we do infact share quality time on the weekends, our lives aren't totally tech related. Ok, so maybe it is considering we spend the majority of our weekends going to computer shows, shopping for hardware...

this isn't looking too good...;)
