could i possibly have the name servers as something else like ns1.MyDomain.com and ns2.MyDomain.com for the DNS tool thing? Or is that not possible?

Nope .. if you want to use the DNS Tool then you have to use our nameservers (ns1.geodns.net and ns2.geodns.net). The DNS Tool is unable to modify zones which are not hosted on our nameservers.
