A quote taken from another forum, which I highly agree with...

"A political system that seems to prefer actors and lawyers over skills and dedication seems to me to be at the end of it's useful time. I can't offer any ideas as to what to replace it with but somthing ain't right with the current system. "

In my high school years (ended only 2 years ago...), we actually had a discussion on whether Arnold could become the first non-American US president.

And yes, we knew the US has a clause about the president must be native, above 35, etc...but for a popular enough person (such as Arnold) maybe they'd make an exception.

Looks like he took the first step...

Wasn't it in the movie, Demolition Man, that they said Arnold was the president of the USA? ;)

This reminds me of a book I read in high-school ("Farenheit 451", kind of like "1984") where written media was highly censored and the government controlled all visual media outlets. There is one scene where two women are discussing the merits of presidential candidates based on their looks ("Ohh he has nice hair") instead of their intelligence or political motivations. I think California needs to be their own country and float off into the Pacific before the insanity spreads. ;)

Sometimes I think "rights" are just freedoms they haven't figured out how to take away or control yet ..
